Nobody's Bar South Yarra

Meet Nobody’s Baby – A Laid-Back Late-Night Bar Bringing Old-School Cool to South Yarra

There’s a new bar on Toorak Road shaking cocktails, spinning vinyl, and serving up seriously good food till late. Say hello to Nobody’s Baby – a neighbourhood hangout with nostalgic charm, a Middle Eastern-leaning menu, and a soundtrack that’ll have you staying for one more round.

Located at 19–21 Toorak Road, Nobody’s Baby is the creation of hospitality duo Gustavo Prince (of Joe’s Shoe Store and Pizza Meine Liebe fame) and Tim Badura. With flickering candles, warm timber tones, and a curated mix of soul, funk, and classic grooves, it’s the kind of bar where you can sink into a booth and lose track of time.

The kitchen is run by the crew from Brunswick favourite Very Good Falafel, dishing up bold, flavour-packed plates like hibachi-grilled meats, crisp Brussels sprouts with chilli pilpelchuma, and Israeli-style ktzitzot (spiced meat patties). Naturally, the falafel is top-tier too.

On the drinks front, the cocktail list is playful and inventive. Think Black Blume with house-made forest berry syrup, Amaro Lucano, orange bitters, and prosecco – or the Everybody’s Martini, made with parmesan fat-washed vodka and Bordiga extra dry vermouth. There’s also a smartly curated wine list and beers on tap.

Nobody’s Baby brings a fresh energy to South Yarra’s night scene – laid-back, welcoming, and full of flavour. Whether it’s a quick drink or a long night, this is one to put on your radar.
