South Yarra is about to welcome a new arrival to the neighbourhood.
On 18 June, RSPCA Victoria will open the doors to its newest Op Shop at 87 Toorak Road, adding another layer to the diverse retail mix that makes the precinct such a popular destination for shoppers.
This new arrival will provide a unique shopping experience for all.
The new store will offer fashion, homewares and pre-loved finds, giving locals and visitors another reason to spend time exploring Toorak Road’s collection of boutiques, cafés, restaurants and specialty retailers.
It’s also part of a growing trend towards more conscious shopping. Op shops continue to attract shoppers looking for unique pieces, quality brands and a more sustainable way to buy, all while supporting causes that matter.
Every purchase made in an RSPCA Op Shop helps fund the organisation’s animal welfare work across Victoria. In the last financial year alone, more than 7,500 animals came through RSPCA Victoria shelters, many requiring veterinary treatment before finding new homes.
The arrival of RSPCA Victoria reflects the continued strength of South Yarra as a retail destination. Alongside established fashion retailers, hospitality venues and service businesses, the precinct continues to evolve with new operators bringing fresh experiences to the street.
For shoppers, it means another opportunity to discover something unexpected.
For the neighbourhood, it is another sign of confidence in one of Melbourne’s most vibrant retail precincts.
The RSPCA Victoria Op Shop opens Thursday 18 June at 87 Toorak Road, South Yarra.
