'A Slice of New York Delight - this has got to be the friendliest bar restaurant in Melbourne. From the moment I stepped in having had a very average day, the owners & daughter were so kind. I moved to the bar seating for the most delightful Sunday roast, and it allowed me to interact with the people next to me and it felt as if we were all part of one big family. This is all down to the owners and their daughter who personally engage with guests, especially solo diners like me to put us right at ease. And they serve up the perfectly seasoned and tender roast, cooked to perfection - best roast in Melbourne and such great value.'

'What can I say. Delirious food. The pasta far surpasses the Italian restaurant across the road at a fraction of the price.
The steak is phenomenal - again at a great price and cooked to perfection.
Massive bonus is you can actually have a conversation and not well known is the beer garden at the back.Surprisingly in my stay here there were not many patrons - I would definitely recommend this place it’s my favourite hangout now and I walk 3kms to get here. 'Raindancer is stunning, the fit out is great, our food was superb, (I'm coeliac and the chef looked after me beautifully) and we loved the welcoming bar that hits you as soon as you step in off the street.  If we lived nearby it would become our local as it has such a friendly vibe.  AND, it's dog friendly which is fantastic!'
